With 10 million data sets, Libri provides the largest media offering in Germany. By using Libri’s catalogue data you have the opportunity to present your customers with the most comprehensive range of articles on the German and international book market. It covers over 95% of readers’ needs, impressive for even the discerning clientele of specialist book business.

A large selection of German-language titles also includes international literature, DVDs and CDs, calendars as well as other non-book articles.

The highest data quality for optimum search results

You will receive important master data information, such as author, title, price, weight, for each article and have access to cover images in various sizes via our media server. In addition to front and back cover blurb, we also provide author portraits and tables of contents.

Especially in the case of online shops, being able to look inside the book is a decisive criterion when it comes to converting interest into a purchase decision and the resulting enjoyment of reading the book. Libri naturally also provides you with the catalogue data along with this link.

In order to help your customers to select suitable titles, you will also receive valuable information from us about title relevance (in relation to the sales figures of comparable titles) in order, for example, to map indices and purchase recommendations.

Your access to Libri catalogue data

When transferring catalogue data (ONIX format) you have the choice between retrieving the daily update via FTP download or via a web service.

Via the initial upload you will receive all data from the extensive Libri catalogue, as well as daily updates providing you with important new information about the titles in our range. Extensive filter options relating to product groups, topics and other criteria of your choice are then available to you, providing extensive and unlimited access.

Both at the start of cooperation as well as throughout long-standing partnerships, we are there to actively assist and advise you on all EDI topics.

Always be up-to-date with the Libri Inventory Feed

Do you already use catalogue data and only require an overview of titles available from Libri or would you like an hourly update of Libri’s inventory? Here we can also provide you with a suitable solution: the Libri Inventory Feed (IVF).

The IVF with your personal access data is available as a CSV file and can be accessed via FTP server. It includes our current stock titles as well as information on EAN, price, stock, weight and the currency units of the respective product group.

We are happy to consider requests for individual IVFs.
